Event Description
Throughout the pandemic, artist and garden designer Alika Cooper hosted one-day plant sales every few months in the lot adjacent to her Los Angeles home. Local artists and plant enthusiasts set up tables full of tiny cacti and succulents, rare houseplants, craft cocktails and tacos, California natives, handmade ceramics, and other wares. It was a joyful and accessible way to engage with and support LA’s creative community during a particularly isolating and frightening time. She’ll be re-creating a one-day plant sale in the outdoor space of the greenhouse gallery. Free and open to the public.
