# Vielmetter Los Angeles

Vielmetter Los Angeles is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2000 by Susanne Vielmetter. It represents a roster of local and internationally recognized artists and develops long-term relationships with them.

Since 2019 the gallery has been located at 1700 S Santa Fe Ave #101 in Downtown Los Angeles, with exhibition spaces Gallery I–IV, a Viewing Room, the Greenhouse and the Lanai.

The gallery showed early solo exhibitions of artists including Amy Sillman and Edgar Arceneaux (2002), Rodney McMillian and Wangechi Mutu (2003) and Mickalene Thomas (2007). Earlier gallery locations were on Wilshire Boulevard (2000–2005) and in Culver City (from 2004), complemented by a project space in Berlin (2007–2009).
