Vielmetter Los Angeles invites you to join us on August 9th at 3:00pm for the Saturday Salon and Closing Reception of Paul Mpagi Sepuya's exhibition, *POSITIONER*. Sepuya will engage in dialogue with Jack Dettling, Ryan Hatch, and Saturn Risin9, who will present a reading, video, and music reflecting on their collective experiences in Sepuya's studio for this exhibition. The works in *POSITIONER* developed out of years of experimentation in the studio and collaborations with friends. The exhibition focuses on the intimate scale of Sepuya's photographs, which comprise a powerful portrait of his community and thread together explorations of perception, subjectivity, and the photographic process into a singular aesthetic.
